As a result of our survey, we concluded that more education is necessary towards recycling. This could be done more at a high school level and be built throughout continuing education. Results are as follows:
SHS(Some High School), BD(Bachelor's Degree), SC(Some College), AD(Associated Degree), MD(Master's Degree)
Half of SHS would be opposed to having fines for not recycling and another half would not, half of them would throw in the landfill and another half recycle some items, half of their parents were against our beliefs and another half recycled growing up, and 100% of SHS did not know that the U.S. ships recycling to China.
33.3% of BD would be opposed to having fines for not recycling and 66.7% would not. 33.3% of them recycle some items, the other 33.3% of them recycle most items, and another 33.3% of them make no carbon footprint. 33.3% of their parents were not recycle growing up and 66.7% were recycle growing up. 66.7% of BD knew that the U.S. ships recycling to China and 33.3% did not.
11.1% of SC would be opposed to having fines for not recycling and 88.9% would not. 66.7% of them recycle some items and 33.3% recycle most items. 66.7% of their parents recycle growing up, 11.1% of them are not, and 44.4% of them were not sure. 33.3% of SC knew that the U.S. ships recycling to China and 66.7% did not.
100% of AD would not be opposed to having fines for not recycling. 100% of them recycle most items. 33.3% of their parents recycle growing up and 66.7% of them are not. 100% of AD did not know that the U.S. ships recycling to China.
100% of MD would not be opposed to having fines for not recycling. 50% of them recycle some items and 50% of them recycle most items. 50% of their parents recycle growing up and another 50% are not. Half of MD knew that the U.S. ships recycling to China and another half did not.
